For a healthy mind and body, residents can avail of services such as physiotherapy, yoga, chiropody, aromatherapy, hairdressing, occupational therapy, dietary consultation, Sonas sessions and language therapy.
An arts, crafts and entertainment programme provides meaningful recreation for our residents. We have a full-time activity coordinator, Pamela O’Regan, who organises person-centred activity sessions for each resident based on their needs and ability.
Activities such as bingo, board games, quizzes, reminiscence therapy, painting, singing and movie viewing are always on offer and exercise programmes are also available.
The vast majority of our residents are from the Roman Catholic tradition. Mass is celebrated in the home every Tuesday. The priest visits residents who cannot attend after mass. The spiritual needs of all our residents are catered for and arrangements for Pastoral Care or the attendance at religious services of other denominations are made as the need arise.
